At Mill 72, we’ve always had a passion for baking and coffee. Our family-owned cafe and bake shop is a space where you can connect, unwind and enjoy our delicious, locally-sourced specialty drinks, baked goods & light breakfasts and lunches.

The Mill 72 Story

Our name, Mill 72, is made up of two components. The “Mill” comes directly from our last name, Miller, and our family’s history of owning and working in a family-owned corn meal mill. The “72” references our Bake Shop & Cafe being located along Manheim’s Route 72.

Family has always been our top priority. We love bringing our family together to create a space for you to connect and enjoy delicious treats.

Meet Melanie

The thought of opening a Bake Shop & Cafe was always in the back of my mind, so when the perfect opportunity presented itself, I went for it.

I come from a family of 8, so I was always helping with the cooking and baking for the family. I have helped host many events in the past years, as well as making desserts for multiple weddings.

I will be overseeing everything at the Bake Shop & Cafe as the Owner/General Manager.

Meet Brian

I am a Principal and Project Engineer at ELA Group, Inc located in Lititz, State College, and Butler, PA. I focus on transportation, municipal and capital improvement projects.

I have used my experience and knowledge from my job to help in the design, approval, and construction of the Bake Shop and Café. I assist at the Bake Shop and Café in my spare time.

Meet Taylor

Hello! My name is Taylor. I am the oldest of the four daughters. My eye for detail has transferred over to a lot of aspects in my life. I attended my local Career and Tech school for cosmetology my senior year of high school and graduated in 2016 with my cosmetology license.

You can find me developing our social media, as well as managing the front of the cafe serving our guests. Aside from the cafe, I enjoy doing special event hair stylings.

In January 2022, I married my husband, Jaden. He graduated from the Warwick School District and works as a SoftPlan Technician at Quality Design and Drafting in Lititz. We are looking forward to welcoming our first baby due in January 2024.

Meet Morgan

Hi! My name is Morgan. I have always enjoyed being in the food industry. I have worked many jobs, both in the kitchen baking as well as out in the front café serving guests.

I graduated from the Mount Joy LCCTC for culinary arts my junior year of high school and the Baking and Pastry program my senior year. I serve as the head baker/kitchen manager at Mill 72 Bake Shop & Café.

In September 2021, I married my best friend, Nate. He graduated from ELCO School District in 2016 and now works for Schreiber Lawn & Landscape Maintenance in Lebanon. We are excited to be expecting our first child in January 2024.

Meet Mckayla

Hey, McKayla here. I graduated from Manheim Central High School in 2020. Since then, I have been a nanny to 4 young girls. I am active in the Young Adults group at South Lebanon Community Church. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing and kayaking.

I am the part of the technical side of the Bake Shop & Cafe and help with what may be needed in that area.

Meet Payton

Hello, my name is Payton. I am the youngest of the girls. I graduated early from high school in 2023. I will be working at both our Lebanon and Manheim locations as a baker, as well as continuing to serve our guests in the cafe. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, as well as my friends from church.

My favorite drink at the cafe is an iced vanilla latte with vanilla sweet cream foam.
